ARCA - short residential courses in the incorporates 2013 members of ARCA (formerly The Adult Residential Colleges Association).

Since 1983, ARCA has been the only organisation promoting and supporting providers of residential lifelong learning opportunities in the United Kingdom.

Central to the ARCA philosophy is the belief that the residential element of the courses enhances the learning experience. The ARCA logo is a symbol which tells prospective course participants that there is a total commitment to providing a high-quality learning experience.

From June 2013, the ARCA association and related websites have been closed, but continues to offer course & tutor information for anyone considering a creative escape or short leisure break.

It equally provides an online resource for tutors and providers of residential lifelong learning courses to connect both online and in person at the annual Standing Conference of Residential Course Providers held at Knuston Hall, Northamptonshire.
