For more experienced participants, scripts can be fine tuned and explored experimentally, and used in the lay-out and design of short texts with coloured backgrounds. All aspects of this course will have tutor-led projects with teaching on an individual basis and group demonstrations. Scripts will be selected from: uncial, foundational hand, italic – basic and variations – Roman / italic capitals and variations, carolingian and copperplate, amongst others.
