We’re very excited to announce that on Friday 13th March from 2-3pm we’ll be holding a #TutorTakeover on twitter with award winning playwright and Arvon tutor David Eldridge. He’ll be taking over the @arvonfoundation twitter account for an hour, sharing some of his juiciest writing tips and answering your questions.

David’s plays include Under The Blue Sky, Festen, Market Boy, The Knot of the Heart, In Basildon and recently Holy Warriors. His work has been performed at The Royal Court, the Bush, the Almeida, the Royal Exchange and the National Theatre, amongst others. He has also written for TV, film and radio and adapted classic Scandinavian dramas. The Picture Man won a Prix Europa. David has taught at Arvon many times and was the playwriting mentor for our Jerwood/Arvon mentoring scheme last year.

Friday’s Tutor Takeover will be your chance to ask David anything to do with writing for stage and screen, getting your play performed, teaching writing, mentoring or the Arvon experience.

To participate, all you have to do is tweet your question ensuring you include the hashtag #TutorTakeover, David will retweet the question before he tweets his answer so everyone can follow the Q&A.

If you’re not on Twitter, click here to sign up. Once you’ve signed up, or if you already are, just follow @arvonfoundation. We will also collect questions on our facebook page – but remember to keep them nice and short so we can tweet them.
