SUMMARY:The Art of Laura Knight
DESCRIPTION:\nDame Laura Knight is probably best known for her theatre\, circus and ballet paintings.  However\, she also painted realistic and emotive depictions of working fishing villages such as Staithes and Newlyn.  She worked as a war artist and we will study her paintings of men and women working in factories\, the army and air force during World War Two\, culminating in her interesting portrayal of the Nuremberg Trials. All-comers welcome. \n\n \n
