DESCRIPTION:\n \nTuesday 14 April – Wednesday 13 May 2015 \nAn introduction to biodynamic farming and gardening\, through three training sessions. Each module builds on the preceeding one while being complete in itself. A practical component is included in each session.A Hawkwood training programme. \n\nTuesday & Wednesday 14th & 15th April\n\nThe human being\, ecology and agriculture \n\nTuesday & Wednesday  28th & 29th April\n\n                Soil fertility\, farm animals and the nature of substance \n\nTuesday & Wednesday 12th & 13th May\n\nThe art of composting\, preparations and the stars \nThe workshops run from 9.30 – 17.30 on both days and includes Tuesday evening. \nBernard Jarman has been involved with biodynamic farming and gardening most of his life\, served as executive director to the Stroud based Biodynamic Agricultural Association (BDAA). He also helped found Stroud Community Agriculture\, the highly successful Community Supported Agriculture scheme based at Hawkwood. He currently manages the Hawkwood estate and offers advice on biodynamic husbandry. \n\n \n
