DESCRIPTION:\n*            Create your own pattern reference book\n*            Mark making\, layering\, collage and much more\n*            Explore pattern as a precursor to stitch\n*            Ideal for anyone who wants to develop their techniques\n\n \nHere is a weekend for anyone with a love of pattern and who enjoys creating their own using a range of pens\, pencils and crayons\, paper and paste to embellish basic shapes and to inspire stitch. \nDuring this course you will use a variety of coloured papers\, to cut and tear simple shapes with added stitch marks with pens\, pencils and crayons. We will incise\, layer\, combine patterns and add found objects to the surface of the work to develop richly patterned\,  textured and dimensional surfaces. \n\n \n
