Nuts, berries and seeds are abundant this time of year, as well as good supplies of greens and roots. Come and see what’s available this year to forage and cook up at Embercombe. The day will be spent walking the land and meeting the food that grows, whilst harvesting for our lunch and to make foodie experiments in the afternoon. There will be time to learn plant identification, share recipe ideas, invent your own and experience a deeper connection to the indigenous nature of us all as creatures of this earth.
Toni Spencer has been working with her passion for wild food for many years as a personal and professional practice. Her knowledge ranges from well over 100 wild foods, to creative tips on integrating them in to daily kitchen life and the cooking of wild feasts.
