DESCRIPTION:\nThe definition of stumpwork is elaborate raised embroidery of the fifteenth to seventeenth centuries using a variety of materials\, giving a dimensional look to the piece of work. On this course we will be covering a variety of techniques incorporating old wires\, beads\, fabrics and threads\, and needlelace stitches. The theme is going to be mostly on flower shapes\, and could also incorporate a beautiful gold ladybird. All levels welcome. \n\n \n
