DESCRIPTION:\nHere is your opportunity to develop your hand quilting expertise with one of the best tutors in the field.  On this weekend you will discover all the essential steps to produce beautiful hand quilting\, including how to mark out a cushion-sized pattern using one of Barbara’s exclusive designs. Barbara will show you the correct way to baste layers together and begin stitching\, and there will be lots of information on what markers to use\, various marking methods\, battings\, basting\, and of course the quilting stitch itself. \nThis course will feature ample guided stitching time and in-depth demonstrations. Barbara will also include an introduction to some of the basics of historic wholecloth design\, together with feathers\, cables\, and some simple pattern making. \n\n \n
