Over two days we will attempt to make 60-80 kilos of high quality charcoal in Monkton Wyld’s very own petite charcoal kiln. the course will revolve around the basics of charcoal burning including wood selection, kiln management etc.

The charcoal will be shared out amongst those on the course.

Tom Barron has been living and working in English woodlands for over 15 years and has made many tons of charcoal and has led numerous courses in this country skill.
