SUMMARY:An Introduction to Lino Cutting
DESCRIPTION:\nThis course will introduce you to Linoleum Printmaking. We will discuss two methods of printing: Reduction and Relief\, looking at various examples of each method. We will also discuss different ways to print your blocks using a press\, wooden/metal spoon\, and a baren. \nIn the second half of the day we will have time to create a print using the Relief method and using either spoon or baren printing techniques. No previous experience necessary. Please feel free to bring along any images you wish to work from. \n\n \n
