DESCRIPTION:\nEach madrigal in this collection is a gem\, and we will cover as many of them as possible\, working initially altogether and then dividing into smaller groups for later sessions. The course will suit confident and experienced singers who can hold a line\, singing in the original Italian. Singers are asked to familiarise yourself with your part in advance. \nJames Weeks enjoys a growing international reputation both for his own music and for his consummate performances of contemporary pieces\, often presented alongside repertoire from the Renaissance or early baroque. He is Associate Head of Composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama\, London. \n\n \n
