DESCRIPTION:\n \nSPINNING WITH FIONA NISBET \n\nSUMMER SCHOOL LEISURE & ARTS COURSES\nSpinning – Weaving – Felt Making\nwith Fiona Nisbet\nTextile Artist\, Designer and Maker – well known from BBC1 TV programme “Escape to the Country” \nLudlow Mascall Centre offers courses in a variety of crafts and other activities\, taught by expert tutors. \nWe are delighted to have lined up some fabulous new workshops with the wonderfully talented Textile Artist\, Designer and Maker Fiona Nisbet from Shropshire Weavers\, who is also well known from BBC1 TV programme “Escape to the Country”. The series of three workshops is for everyone wishing to learn all about spinning\, weaving and felt making. \nTuesday\, 26th August 2014 from 10.30am to 4pm \nWednesday\, 28th January 2015 from 10.30am to 4pm \nTuesday\, 17th February from 10.30am to 4pm \n £80 per person (refreshments & lunch included)\nBy the end of the day you’ll have your own hank of hand-spun wool to take home with you and understand how to use a spinning wheel. \nFor those who can already spin a day spent with Fiona might be just what you need to use your spinning wheel to its full potential. \nCome and learn making felt with Fiona Nisbet \nTextile Artist\, Designer and Maker well known from BBC1 TV programme “Escape to the Country” January 2014 \nWet Felting and Needle Felting \nThis is a really easy\, fun\, tactile activity for both children and adults. \nYou can come and make a simple picture\, or wall-hanging or create a 3-D sculptured piece.
