Arts in Residence promotes musical and arts-related events in characterful locations throughout the UK and in Europe.
Enjoy music more by meeting other music lovers at a themed weekend house party.
Arts in Residence offers musical weekends discussing and exploring the music of the great composers, while staying in characterful houses and hotels, with lectures illustrated by music examples on excellent hi-fi equipment.
These are generally two-night events at weekends, starting from 5pm on Friday and ending around 3pm on Sunday, but occasionally they take place midweek from Tuesday to Thursday.
The fees cover the accommodation, the course and programme notes on the featured music. All meals are included, with wine at dinner on both Friday and Saturday evenings.

Terry Barfoot is Director of Arts in Residence. He writes widely on music for Britain’s leading journals, orchestras, festivals and record companies. He lectures at venues throughout the country and is Publications Consultant to the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
