My aim for the course is that the students will gain a basic understanding of the Copperplate alphabet including the capitals and to gain confidence in writing with a pointed nib. Please bring:   Flat board or large piece of cardboard to work on, A3 or A4 smooth paper, straight or angled penholder, any thin ink or tube of gouache to mix, pointed nibs, small jar to mix paint (tiny jam pots are good), ruler and pencil.
