Another opportunity to take part in this dynamic and passionate dance form from Andalucía. The combination of its origins in Arabic, Indian, Sephardic Jewish and Gypsy culture as well as traditional local rhythms from the region, gives historical depth and emotional resonance to expression through music, song and dance. This course will introduce participants to Sevillanas.

This dance form is practised by both men and women and is one of the principal forms of social enjoyment at festivals and fiestas throughout Andalucía. You will be dancing with a partner, but it is not necessary to come with a partner to participate in the course. All-comers welcome.
