Meditation is an effective way of counteracting stress and increasing the sense of personal well-being. The course is designed for those who have not practiced before or who have only limited experience. Techniques and concepts come primarily from the Buddhist tradition but no attempt is made to promote any particular faith. Meditation is of universal relevance. Sessions will include periods of seated practice (10 – 30 minutes) using ordinary chairs. No special postures are required. There will be ample time to discuss practice within a supportive environment.
