Here is a weekend course where you will have the opportunity to try out a wide range of different textile techniques, having fun with a variety of related products. You will stitch with sheer fabrics, then burn with a soldering iron and hot air gun to create texture. You will also expand your skills using 3-D paint, and making beads and cords, as well as producing image transfers using T-shirt transfer paper.

Your tutor, Annette, will give you a wealth of knowledge to have at your finger tips as you develop your textile art expertise. Let your imagination run wild and play a little. And by the Sunday afternoon you will have produced your own wonderful pieces of mixed media art which can then be mounted and framed.

This course is suitable for intermediate students who already have some knowledge of free machine embroidery.
