The music of Mozart remains at the very heart of western musical consciousness. We
will consider the range and nature of his achievement, while placing him in the
context of his time. The musical examples using CD and DVD will be played on
excellent hi-fi equipment, and the weekend will conclude with a performance of one
of his greatest works by one of Britain’s leading string quartets.

The Norfolk Arms Hotel is a Georgian coaching inn located in the heart of Arundel,
adjacent to the castle. The building retains many original features, with individually styled rooms and real sense of history. Arundel station is nearby and the hotel has private parking.
