The decorative motifs of different countries have inspired stitchers through the ages, and this course builds on that international inspiration. During the weekend you will create a personal collection of projects designed by Gail. Fancy stitching your own New Zealand seascape? Or a view of Mount Fuji? Or Venice’s Rialto Bridge? Perhaps you prefer a pattern featuring the rose window found in several French cathedrals. Well, here is your chance. Before the course, when you enrol you will receive a ‘menu’ of different options, including projects inspired by Italy, France, New Zealand, China and Japan, along with several derived from Britain’s own rich heritage. Some designs are created in Gail’s signature technique, stained glass patchwork, and there will be plenty of other choices as well.
