This practical summer school in the creative craft of woodcarving is open to all and is presented in two parts, see Part 1 for further course details. Beginners start with a simple relief design to familiarise with tools and basic carving techniques before progressing to a more advanced project of their choice. Improvers will be encouraged to develop their skills on more challenging projects, carving in relief or in the round.
