The Hurst Opens its Doors to the Public

You can visit the recently renovated 19th century manor house, see John Osborne’s former study where there will be an exhibition of his time at The Hurst, and view many of John Osborne’s original theatre posters and works of art from his personal collection. Explore the garden, azalea walk, and the woods full of bluebells and ancient
Free entry, from 1.30pm to 4pm. You do not need to book tickets. Guided tours may be available at 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm, depending on interest. No dogs, in the house nor in the grounds (except for guide dogs).
The Osborne and After Festival, 5 – 8 May 2016, celebrates the 60th anniversary of Look Back in Anger, and his connections with Shropshire.
