Sergei Prokofiev composed the music for nine ballets, across a period of nearly forty
years. Our weekend will explore his remarkable career and his various collaborations
with choreographers and designers. Our particular focus will be his tuneful, dramatic
and colourful masterpieces Romeo & Juliet and Cinderella, but there will also be
opportunities to explore other works besides. The music examples and performances
will feature excellent hi fi equipment including DVD with large screen.
