Guitar Weekends have been providing top quality residential guitar courses since 1995 for guitarists of all ability levels across most genres. This autumn they are launching three new courses :-

  1. 25th October – a Beginners Weekend at Farncombe Estate in the Cotswolds – this is for those who either want to start playing the guitar or who have started but are getting nowhere fast; it’ll be a small course with limited places covering everything from set-up to basic chord progressions and scales to different strumming patterns and rhythms, focusing on tunes and not just technique.
  2. 8th November at Farncombe Estate in the Cotswolds – a Themed Weekend for Improvers to learn left and right hand techniques, grooves and licks through the eyes of Clapton, The Eagles, The Beatles and others.
  3. 6th December a Weekend for The Complete Guitarist at the Westmorland Hotel in Cumbria – reading and writing chord charts, how to create an effective rhythm part, how to record guitar (electric acoustic), rehearsing and directing a band, extended chord theory and creating a great solo.

Additionally, these is a 10% discount offer for places on these two upcoming courses in the Cotswolds:

  • Acoustic Folk – Donovan, Beatles, Dylan, McTell and more [27 Sept]
  • Intro to Jazz – how to “jazz up” popular songs [25 Oct]

plus a discount scheme for booking more than one course (as well as incentives for introducing someone totally new to Guitar Weekends!).  See the full list in the table below or email
